It’s Saturday in Barcelona, cold but the sun shine like paradise… since Claudia arrived to the city we haven’t stopped going around finding restaurants, shops and putting in practice what we like the most: Eat.
With the excuse of the visit, we have eating so much. But obviously, that has its consequences and our body is screaming asking us for something more light, healthy and homemade alike, organic products, no processed and a lot of greens! After thinking a lot, I remembered that organic shop and restaurant that I visited one day: WOKI ORGANIC MARKET.
We like their concept, a small market where bio-gourmet addicts can get crazy: fresh fruits, greens, a bread space and bakery, books and lots of products that it can be tricky to find somewhere else. Thanks to Claudia I didn’t take home everything with me!
Then the restaurant… an open but cosy space with a Norwegian influence and little colour details from flowers and natural elements that gives warmth to the atmosphere.
The dishes are simple, respecting the products (organic, seasonal and excellent quality). In their menu you can find from fresh juices, healthy salads to a wide variety of woks and meat/fish. We loved the quinoa salad with raw vegetables, the hummus (especially the beetroot one), and the meat that it melts in your mouth… To be honest, we couldn’t leave without having a with the cheesecake and carrot cake.
To all those nice things, add an extremely friendly staff.
We will be back!
